Leave your legacy at Old Mission Santa Barbara!
The Legacy of Old Mission Santa Barbara goes back to its founding in 1786. Established on the Feast of Saint Barbara, it was the tenth of twenty-one California Missions to be founded by the Spanish Franciscans. More than 200 years later, the Mission continues to be a cultural and historic landmark in Santa Barbara. We invite you to consider leaving your legacy at Old Mission Santa Barbara to ensure that it continues to be a historic community landmark for years to come. Become a member of the 1786 society and merge your legacy with Old Mission Santa Barbara’s through a planned gift. It’s a wonderful way to support the Old Mission that can cost you nothing during your lifetime, provide significant tax savings, provide a monthly income during your lifetime, and create a personal legacy that can continue to pass on your values to future generations. Such gifts can be restricted to particular purposes or provide for the general operation and historical preservation of the Mission. Planned gifts can be revocable or irrevocable and can take many forms.
